Certified laboratory

A technological hub where innovation meets the strictest testing protocols.

Our internationally accredited IEC-standard laboratory sits at the heart of Pizzato R&D. State-of-the-art instrumentation enables in-lab recreation of hostile environments and precise mapping of how every component behaves under different conditions.
This unit operates in full compliance with the requirements of leading international bodies, such as IMQ. In addition, the laboratory is part of the prestigious UL Witness Test Data Program and is qualified to conduct Witness Testing with TÜV.

A reliable partner

This methodical approach enables us to go beyond the usual market standards. Investing in our laboratory means we can promise our customers products that excel in the most demanding applications, ensuring quality, lower maintenance costs and certified operational safety.

Rigorous testing for extreme environmental conditions

IP tests

Pizzato verifies the waterproof properties of components by exposing them to water flows at pressures between 8,000 and 10,000 kPa and at high temperatures (80°C ±5°C), simulating harsh industrial-washing conditions.

Salt-fog resistance

The company simulates years of exposure in coastal or offshore environments through intensive cycles in a climate chamber at 35°C, analysing the long-term resistance of metal components in aggressive environments.

Shock, sinusoidal-vibration and random-vibration testing

Pizzato’s advanced testing systems make it possible to measure the resistance of components to mechanical shock, vibrations and sudden acceleration, with peaks of 100 g and operating frequencies up to 2,000 Hz. The aim is to assess structural strength, functional continuity and overall device reliability.

Impact testing up

The company can conduct impact tests up to 100J to verify the mechanical resistance of products in the event of accidental impacts or high-impulse loading. These tests enable the analysis of how housings, control elements and mechanical components behave under harsh conditions.

High and low-temperature tests

The company conducts thermal testing across a broad range of temperatures, from -70°C up to +300°C, to assess the behaviour of products under extreme conditions. These tests enable assessment of functionality, stability of materials and resistance of components to temperature fluctuations.

Thermal camera

Using a special thermal camera capable of recording temperatures from -30°C to +350°C, the company can analyse the temperature profiles of circuit boards to guarantee their thermal stability.
