Pizzato interlocking devices with key release and pin release with manual mechanical delay are designed to ensure safe access to danger areas. These solutions are ideal for applications in which risk continues to exist even once the machine has been stopped, or when it is necessary for access to be possible exclusively following a conscious, intentional action by an authorised operator.

Two types of release: key release and release with manual mechanical delay

Versions with key release enable opening of the guard only by authorised personnel using a special key, while those with a mechanical delay enable manual delay of guard release for a set period of time.
