A single switch for simple stop and emergency stop
These devices are installed on machines, production lines and conveyor belts and allow the machine to be brought to a stop or an emergency stop from any point by pulling on the rope. This means significant cost savings for medium and large machines, since multiple control devices or emergency-stop buttons can be replaced with a single switch.
Continuous monitoring of rope operation
A self-monitoring function enables safety rope devices to constantly monitor the correct operation of the system, detecting any slackening or breakage of the rope by opening safety contacts. Following actuation, the contacts remain open even once the rope is released, until the device is manually reset.
