Foot switches are control devices designed to enable the operator to activate machinery or production-cycle phases by foot, thereby keeping both hands free.

Every model is designed to ensure stability and reduce the risk of unintentional actuation, thanks to the integration of robust protection covers and mechanical locking devices.

To increase the level of safety and control, foot switches can be equipped with safety levers to prevent accidental actuation, with two-stage actuation to manage multiple commands or with actuator locks to block the pedal in position after a command.

Applications of foot switches

Foot switches are essential in all applications requiring manual coordination to handle items or where hand control would be awkward or unsafe.

Foot pedals are actuated by applying pressure to the pedal lever, which acts on the contact block, closing or opening the electrical circuit.
