Safety modules for two-hand control

Pizzato CS DM series safety modules are electromechanical devices designed for the safe management of two-hand control, in accordance with EN ISO 13851. This type of module ensures that the operator activates the two buttons simultaneously within a specified time frame.

Safety function of CS DM series modules for two-hand control

The safety function of CS DM modules guarantees safe two-hand control, preventing activation of the machine if the buttons are not pressed simultaneously. The module verifies synchronisation, checks circuit integrity, carries out self-monitoring, and immediately brings the system into a safe state in the event of release or failure.

Applications of the CS DM series

Presses and metal forming systems
Machine tools with crushing risk
Automatic production lines requiring synchronised activation
Safety architectures that require two-hand control, up to Type III C
