Separate-actuator interlocks without guard locking
Separate-actuator interlocks without guard locking are safety switches for controlling gates, guards, enclosures and all those protective devices which protect dangerous parts of machinery with no inertia, automatically stopping the machine when the guard is opened.

Separate-actuator interlocks for safe and reliable control of guards
The actuator is fixed to the movable part connected to the guard and the body of the interlock is mounted on the fixed part of the machine. This means that the actuator is withdrawn from the switch each time the guard is opened. A dedicated mechanism ensures positive opening of the electrical safety contacts upon withdrawal of the actuator from the interlock.

Interlocks that can be easily integrated and adapted to different contexts
With tried and tested functionality and a strong build, Pizzato separate-actuator interlocks offer lasting reliability and easy integration into existing safety systems.
Advantages of separate-actuator interlocks
Actuation of the interlock from five different directions thanks to a side entry point on the head which can be rotated in 90° steps, and another entry point on the top
Highly flexible configuration with a wide range of actuators and contact blocks
Wide-ranging actuator travel in head, to withstand high levels of oscillation without undesired stops
Protection degree up to IP67 and IP69K for industrial environments with exposure to dusts, liquids and intensive cleaning
