Sensitive hinge-actuation for guard control

Pizzato hinge-actuated interlocks are designed to monitor gates or guards that protect dangerous parts of machinery with no inertia. They function by having the actuator integrated directly into the hinge of the guard. When the guard is opened, the contacts open after a few degrees of rotation and this immediately interrupts the power supply to the machine, ensuring it stops quickly and safely.

Flexible installation and intuitive adjustment

The head has variable orientation, enabling installation of the device in various positions, for easy adaptation to the specific guard. In addition, the ability to adjust the operating angle of contacts through 360° enables optimisation of device function based on the specific system requirements, increasing the efficacy of the guard and making it harder to tamper with.
