Devices of the FG series certified acc. to EN 81-20 and EN 81-50

The FG series safety switches with separate actuator with lock are not only proven interlocking systems with lock acc. to EN ISO 14119. In versions with option -V70V90, they comply with standards EN 81-20 and EN 81-50.

They can therefore be used as locking switches for hinged and sliding doors in passenger and goods lifts.

If attached to a landing or cabin door, the door can only be opened if the solenoid in the interior of the device is activated, so that the actuator located in the head can be unlocked.

Structural features

Located in the rotatable head of the switch are entry openings for the actuator at the front and top. Furthermore, the switch has a slim, long-shaped body measuring just 40 mm in width: As a result, this door locking device can be used in installation situations in which this was not previously possible due to lack of space.

The switch is made completely out of metal, which guarantees extreme robustness and a maximum holding force of the actuator of 3,000 N. In addition, protection degree IP67 against the penetration of liquids is achieved.

Additional auxiliary release with lock and triangular key

As required by the standards mentioned above, an auxiliary release with triangular lock is implemented which, like the head for the actuator entry, can be rotated.

This auxiliary release is equipped with a spring return system that prevents the switch from remaining in the unlocked state if the door is closed.
