NX series: new versions with escape release and ECOLAB approval

The NX series of RFID safety switches with lock introduces new functionality designed to further increase protection and reliability in industrial applications. The newly introduced features guarantee safe exit from within guards in emergency situations, in addition to greater resistance of the devices when exposed to chemicals and frequent washing, typical in the food and beverage industry.

Rear escape release device for emergencies

The first major innovation is the addition of the rear emergency release button, also known as "escape release". This new version of the NX switch enables release of the actuator directly from within protected areas, providing an additional level of safety for operators in the event of an emergency.

There are two main configurations available for auxiliary releases:

  • Version with hexagonal key release at front and escape release button at back (NX •••AE••••).
  • Version with hexagonal key release on three sides and escape release button at back (NX •••CE••••).

For installation on panels with a thickness up to 50 mm, extensions are also available for the release button, guaranteeing complete functionality even with more complex structural configurations.

ECOLAB approval for environments with strict hygiene standards

The second new feature is the ECOLAB approval obtained for the NX series. This certifies the safety switch's resistance to the most commonly used chemical agents used for cleaning and disinfecting industrial environments.

The tests carried out certify that devices maintain their functional and mechanical characteristics even after prolonged exposure to detergents and disinfectants commonly used in the food industry.

This certification is a key added value for the NX series, making it ideal for use in all industrial contexts that demand high safety standards as well as strict cleaning and hygiene protocols.
